Richard Corral

Tax Associate

Richard worked in the concert lighting industry as a lighting director for 13 years where he worked with running lights for some of the biggest music artists and festivals in the country. As a business owner within the industry, his passion for tax knowledge grew because he could not find a CPA who was willing to give his business the attention it needed to get the best tax outcome.

After the pandemic completely shut down live entertainment events and brought his business to a halt, he decided to change paths and pursue a career as a CPA because he enjoyed helping people with their taxes. He was often approached by colleagues for tax advice as he was always reading books to lower taxes and attending tax seminars. He graduated from UCLA with honors, his bachelor’s degree in Economics, a minor in accounting, and a concentration in value investing. During his time in school he interned with many CPA firms, including a Big 4 accounting firm in downtown LA.

Richard chose to work at Falcon Tax for its fast-paced growth, client-work, and culture. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching new shows, and expanding his knowledge for personal and professional growth. Richard is also currently studying for the CPA exams.
